lol thats so obvious. The old Ipad mini runs with an A5 processor. (Which on release was already a year behind technology) the new runs on the updated A7. Its clear that these Chips have a huge power difference. But its good that Apple uses their newest hardware on the Mini.

I thought the iPad 3 was at least twice as fast compared to the iPad 2. According to this chart. They are almost the same???

You mean it's not? Please provide examples of where an updated device hasn't been "faster" than the device it replaces.
