Apple has confirmed it will be participating in Black Friday this year both in retail stores and online. An image popped up on the Australian store first, which revealed that users can shop online, visit a store, or buy from the Apple Store app to participate in the savings.
Deals will run Midnight to Midnight on the Apple Online store and will feature free shipping, regardless of the purchase price.
Apple still has not revealed what savings will be, but last year we saw $100 of MacBooks and $30-$40 off iPad/iPod Touches, so we expect similar discounts.
If you are looking to score the best deal on a new Apple product, we recommend other retailers, as they have great deals on iPads, iPhones and Macs.

Is this an April Fools joke? Apple rarely lowers prices significantly on Black Friday, often only offering small discounts.
