Duolingo App Gets New Language Coach, Virtual Currency

Duolingo, a popular app for learning languages, has been updated with a new Language Coach and a new virtual currency.

With Duolingo, you learn a language completely free, without ads or hidden charges. You have fun while you learn, leveling up and competing with friends. You have the opportunity to translate real-world texts in the language you are learning, and in doing so, help us translate the Web into other languages.

What's New In This Version:
• Drop and give me 20... XP, that is. The new Language Coach will keep your learning on track. Simply tell him how much time you want to dedicate, and he'll make sure you don't slip!
• Better than Bitcoin, Lingots are Duolingo's new virtual currency. From snazzy outfits for the coach to heart refills that help you pass difficult lessons, Lingots help you customize your learning experience. You'll love getting them as rewards for doing awesomely in your new language!
