With a over 400 locations worldwide, Apple Retail Stores brought in nearly $7 billion in revenue in the last quarter alone. Over 100 million people visit their stores each quarter, giving Apple the lead in the United States retail market in terms of sales per unit area.

Take a look at the map below which shows Apple opening their stores, starting in 2001. It is impressive to see how quickly Apple has been able to scale its operations across the world, especially when you consider the first stores was opened in 2001 in Tysons Corner Center mall and in Glendale, California.

My first girlfriend had a similar map but it was much more densely populated. She had Easy Pass but she didn't own a car. Apple is unreal. It looks like Hitler taking territory during the 40s. Congrats to Tim Cook.
