Another day, another iPhone 6 leak. This time, an alleged iPhone 6 backlight panel has surfaced on the Chinese-twitter site Weibo. Just yesterday, an alleged aluminum mold used by manufactures surfaced as well.
While there is no way to verify the legitimacy of the image, the part does appear to look similar to the backlight panel of the iPhone 5s/5c. There are a few small differences such as relocated connects and different pins.
The part appears to be for the 4.7-inch model iPhone, however Apple is rumored to release a larger 5.5-inch iPhone along side the 4.7-inch model. Both phones are expected to pack a a 1704 x 960 resolution display bringing a higher pixel density, as well as an A8 processor, an improved camera and 802.11ac Wi-Fi.

There's no chance in hell Apple will release a 4.7 and a month later a 5.5. This is entirely un-Apple. They'd have to release at different price points and people who bought the 4.7 would be hella pissed at not being made aware of a 5.5.
