Facebook Releases New 'Facebook Mentions' App for Public Figures

Facebook has released Facebook Mentions, a new Facebook Creative Labs app that makes it easy for public figures to talk with their fans and each other on the go.

Mentions is a new way for actors, athletes, musicians and other influencers to discover and join conversations on Facebook.

Facebook Mentions is currently only available to verified public figures using Pages. To gain access to Mentions, you can visit http://facebook.com/mentions.
