StatusDuck is an app that moves your OS X Dock into the menu bar.
The app helps you save screen space and lets you easily manage your applications without using keyboard shortcuts.

Looks like android except it happens on mobile devices.

Actually it's not for mobile devices at all. It's for Macs.

I meant by looks because everytime you get a notification, it tells you at the top right in the bar, on apple devices it covers the status bar and part of the notification center drops down. A bit of a difference there.

Maybe useful if neither your dock nor menu bar has many icons on it. For me there is no way they'd all fit on the menu bar.

I tend to stay away from any type of tweak that I have to learn to use differently. It's not that hard to use the dock and it can be hidden. But it's a neat idea indeed.
