Apple has announced that its iAd network now offers pre-roll video and full-screen interstitial banner ad formats.

Apple is doing something groundbreaking with iAd? Is it still 2010? On second thought, I guess this is not so groundbreaking in 2014. Apple is taking way too long to do for iAd what Airpush, Tapjoy, and Millennial Media have been doing for their own benefit and the benefit of developers and advertisers for YEARS now. Time to innovate again, Apple.
