Apple Starts Sending iCloud Sign-In Notifications

Posted September 8, 2014 at 4:20pm by iClarified
Apple has started sending users iCloud sign-in notifications in an effort to increase security measures and user awareness following the nude celebrity photo scandal earlier this month.

Apple CEO Tim Cook recently told the WSJ that Apple will alert users via email and push notifications when someone tries to change an account password, restore iCloud data to a new device, or when a device logs into an account for the first time.

We received the email below after signing into iCloud on a web browser.

It's strongly suggested that users implement to two-step verification on their Apple accounts for added security. You can learn more about doing that here.

Dear Apple - I don't want any security on my iCloud. This is bad for my business.
