A new iPad Air Plus / Pro mockup video has surfaced which helps you visualize just how big the rumored 12.2-inch tablet is.

The video from Canoopsy is based on specs allegedly leaked by Mac Fan. The specs indicate the device will have a 12.2-inch display and a 12-inch x 8.7-inch body.

Notably, these dimensions make the tablet almost as large as a 13-inch MacBook! Recent analyst predictions suggest that Apple won't start production of the larger device until Q2 2015.

Take a look at the video below and let us know what you think in the comments!

He killed iPod? Since when was he known for that? Second, how does ipad die if it always and never stopped growing since the very beginning? Not to mention how none of the competition owned them one bit.

First thing: if they make a larger screen, then the resolution should be higher res, allowing for smaller icons, giving you more space. Simply making the screen bigger is not a help, because you don't get more real estate, graphically speaking. Secondly, with 10/16 aspect ratio becoming the standard in monitors, and and 4k TVs and desktops for multimedia playback, then certainly I would like to see a wide aspect ratio on this machine. Finally, if it has MacOS instead of iOS, I won't buy it. This would hurt the app developers and users if such a platform was developed with the idea that iOS will eventually go away - I know that isn't what was suggested, but it certainly could be the result if development went back to full Mac OS support. I think if Apple can come up with a dual OS (Mac/iOS) then they may be on to something. I would buy that!
