Samsung beat Apple in cellular telephone customer satisfaction this year, according to the American Customer Satisfaction Index.
Samsung managed a 6.6% increase in customer satisfaction for 2014 going from 76% to 81%. That tied Apple's score from last year; however, Apple saw a 2.5% decrease in customer satisfaction this year bringing it down to 79% and putting it in second place.
Apple is followed by Nokia (77%), Motorola Mobility (Google) (77%), HTC (75%), BlackBerry (74%), and LG (73%).
The American Customer Satisfaction Index surveys around 70,000 customers each year to create its benchmarks. They didn't provide any insight as to why Apple may have declined in customer satisfaction or what caused Samsung's jump.

So I have the 6 plus thought it was great got a galaxy note 4 about a week back (needed to renew a contract) and I must say Samsung is something of a new world however being said their phones feel cheap but can do so much more and are packed with some darn good hardware. I'm still working thru it and still use the plus as my phone but I might be on the change now.

Some people can't admit it. Like winning one time is something to celebrate? How about rewards from customer satisfaction by JD Power? That's the real deal.

Based on the graph I would have disagree. The month that show info for Apple are higher than those of Samsung.

Hmmm ... looks like a tie for all practical purposes, same as last year was.

On your dream Samsung! I remember what you told me when your phone broke and asked for it to be replaced. No one can beat Apple's customer satisfaction, not yet.

The only reason is larger screen demands. Like that's not enough to be picky of?
