The Apple Store has gone down ahead of the start of Apple Watch pre-orders tonight.
Customers will be able to pre-order the smartwatch starting at 12:01 AM PDT, April 10th. If you haven't had a chance to look at all the available models, you can pick your favorite here. You might also want to check out these videos.
Apple's new 12-inch MacBook will also be available for purchase once the store goes live later tonight.
There will not be any in-store sales of the Apple Watch during the launch period, making an online pre-order more important that it's been in the past. Angela Ahrendts, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail and Online Stores, said: “To provide the best experience and selection to as many customers as we can, we will be taking orders for Apple Watch exclusively online during the initial launch period.”
Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS to find out when pre-orders are live!

I'm stuck between the black sport or the stainless with sport band.

Am thinking the aluminum for starters. It's not like one is buying a watch that will last them 10 -15 years. This thing will be obsolete in 2 or 3 like most phones or tablets. I can't imagine why someone would drop $10,000 on the gold unless $ really is no object.

I was stuck on the exact same thing. But i would mostly wear it at an office and with a nicer band, and the aluminum i figured would bother me with time. To me it was similar to deciding between the 5C and 5S when they were new. Even though 5s came with the fingerprint scanner, i was more sold by it's premium design.
Hope you got your order in! I ended up getting the Stainless Steal with Milanese loop and the additional black sports band.
