Apple's next generation iPhone may feature the company's new alloy of 7000 Series aluminum that was created for the Apple Watch, reports UDN. Since the alloy is significantly stronger it would help the device resist bending.
Corporation that Apple intends to enhance cell phone cases hardness using a higher level of 7000 series aluminum, because of the new sporty Apple Watch 7000 series aluminum has been used to strengthen the hardness, it is expected the new generation iPhone 6 will be adopted in order to strengthen the product of nearly hardness, as a result of high-grade aluminum hardness increase of 60% would result in CNC manufacturing process more complicated, it will help the process can become a technology leader with competitors pull away.
On the Apple Watch page, Apple describes the benefits of the new aluminum alloy.
For Apple Watch, we created a new alloy of 7000 Series aluminum that’s 60 percent stronger than standard alloys. Yet it’s very light. Together with the Ion-X glass covering the display, it makes the Sport collection watches up to 30 percent lighter than our stainless steel models. It’s also exceptionally pure, with a beautifully consistent appearance that’s difficult to achieve with traditional aluminum alloys.

Hoping for a below 5" 6s phone w/c would be more resistant by the least from bending. I wouldn't even waste a second picking one up right ahead, as of now I'm sticking with my 5s.

I think iPhone is a pretty weak phone, cannot even stand a .50 caliber bullet. Everyone knows that the main use of a phone is to sit on it, drive on it, shoot it, do scuba diving etc. The iPhone is not to be used to make calls, surf internet. I do not see the point of all this bendgate thing, of course you can damage a phone if you sit on it.

Why would you sit on the phone????
Or better why would you put your phone in your back pocket?
Do you have too mich money to waste? If That i the case, when you break one buy another.
I have an iPhone 6 plus, with a nice case an I am super carefull.
I also have an iPhone 4 that look brand new, and an iPhone 5 that is in perfect shape. Always taken care of it.
Let me ask you this, do you seat in your laptop? If you do not, why don't you try?

If this comes with the patented water resistance, I am ready to throw my money rich/poor.

Apple will repair a broken screen in store for $109. But they lay your iPhone on a flat surface to make sure it's not slightly bent at all. If it is, then it's $300. Well, i was shocked to see my iPhone 6 barely passed, because it was rocking a little bit. I am more careful with it now. Trying not to place in back pocket.

Bendgate was blown way out of proportion. It's a phone. Not a wallet for people to sit on.

Make it sapphire and I may just ignore waiting for a 4-inch version (if not released for 6s) and buy the 4.7" 6s instead.

I have both, the 6 and the 6 plus and I have not seen any issues with them. It's a cell phone not a hammer.
