Apple appears to have given cyclist and former professional rugby player Will Carling an Apple Watch and a 'clever' folding charger.
Carling tweeted a photo of the charger saying, "Now that is cool ....... Never thought I would be impressed by my new plug!!! #apple #clever". He was given the charger by Jonathan Ive. No word on whether it will come with the retail Apple Watch.
In addition to the charger, Carling also posted an image of what appears to the Apple Watch Sport with a pink band, despite his reference to it as a red band. "Think I prefer the red strap!! #rubitin", he tweeted. There's always the chance it's a custom band from Apple.
Apple has been gifting the smartwatch to various celebrities ahead of its public availability. Most notable is the gold Apple Watch Edition with custom gold Link Bracelet spotted on Karl Lagerfeld.
A leaked internal Apple memo reveals that the Apple Watch may not be available for purchase in stores until June. If you're interested in purchasing one, an online pre-order is going to be your best option.

The fact this guy has the bottom band on backwards makes us face palm, hard. Another note, I think the band is red... I don't know where they get pink from.

Shame. The charger looks better than the scary scary watch. Casio designed better watch than apple.

The bottom strap is on backwards! The size of the band should be on the inside not the outside!

Is that even legal? I guess the middle is ground? What if the user finds out he doesn't have to extend it, charging works anyway..

You can see an indent for the finger only on the middle one. I guess that when you pull the middle pin the other two automatically go with it. Same goes the other way around.

U.K's socket has a guard lock. The middle is needed to open the lock for non-grounded adapters.
