Samsung has just posted its design video for the Galaxy S6 Edge and it's looking very familiar. Specifically, the video looks a lot like Apple's manufacturing video for the gold Apple Watch Edition.
Samsung has already been criticized for taking design elements from the iPhone 6 for its new smartphone. Now it appears as though the company is taking advertising cues from Apple as well.
Take a look at both videos below and let us know what you think in the comments.

People complaining about how ugly is the apple watch.. well, do you remember the first touch screen phone and how ugly it was? it's the same idea! a new product into market doesn't have to be the most sexy one but what it's capable of! and yet it's pretty good actually! it's like a new football player that you are not aware yet of all his skills so you put him into a competition into a match, see if he's good, and tell him what he did wrong after.

You cannot compare apple with samsungs in phones or laptops. Of course I meant apple. But Apple buy parts from other companies including Samsung. So maybe this vid is from Samsung manufacturing unit that is also used to provide Apple with parts.

I'm an Apple fanboy (typing this on my iPhone 6), but I don't think this video is a copy at all. I mean sure, it has the FEEL of Apple, but that's just because it's a pretty classy video about manufacturing design. Can someone put together a point-by-point comparison of them if it's really such a direct copy?

After 7 years of this blatant copying, I don't even bother any more.

Let's focus the discussion on the hardware design and manufacturing of these devices.

I know what you mean the apple watch is to thick for a watch but how thin can they make something like this?

Just wait for next year or 2 for a more slender/sexier/better designed and spec'd iWatch 2, the first edition is just to test out how many would buy it even if it looks fugly till they reach that desired value to make it more appealing for the next revision. That's how apple marketing works.

If you ask me, the logic of this argument puts both Apple and Samsung in the category of "stealing ideas" from the show "How it's Made"
