Microsoft is updating emoji in Windows 10 with skin tone modifiers, some redesigned faces, and a middle finger.

The company is the first to introduce the middle finger emoji, despite the symbol being approved as part of Unicode 7 in mid-2014, notes emojipedia. It has yet to be implemented by iOS, OS X, Android or the current version of Windows. Apple recently updated its emoji picker on iOS and Yosemite but decided not to include the symbol.

Windows 10 brings skin tone modifiers which can be also be used for the new emoji, technically described as 'Reversed Hand With Middle Finger Extended'.
