Apple SVP Jeff Williams to Speak at Code Conference

Apple's Jeff Williams, senior vice president of operations and the man who oversaw development of the Apple Watch, will speak at Code Conference, reports Re/code.

Some know that Williams, who reports to CEO Tim Cook, leads the team of people around the world who manage Apple’s complex supply chain and its global service and support organization. But few know that two years ago Cook tapped him to also manage the development of the Apple Watch, the first new product category the tech giant has entered in five years. Williams is also the one driving the company’s health initiatives, including ResearchKit, Apple’s effort to bolster medical and health research.

Code Conference is being held May 26 to 28 in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
