Apple is planning on releasing iOS 8.4 GM today and possibly iOS 9 beta 2 today, reports BGR.

Apple is currently planning on releasing iOS 8.4 GM today. iOS 9 beta 2 is also scheduled for release today, though it’s possible they could move it to next Monday, the 29th.

iOS 8.4 includes a redesigned Music app and will be required for the launch of Apple Music on June 30th.

I dont know.. Since Apple wants to bring iOS9 before the next iPhone launch, im guessing jailbreak will be push back to iOS9 instead of 8.4 version. We might end up waiting more than expected

I wouldn't give my hopes up. As much as there is almost no way for NSA to try and break in, this still means iOS 9 can be as heavily focused it can, but not call it weak or anything but there is always a way to get jailbreak, so I wouldn't give any hopes up.

I dont think there will be any team that wants to sacrifice their valuable exploits just to be on the main page when they know bigger update(ios9) is coming up soon. They usually ended up waiting for next version in the past.

GM means gold master edition of iOS beta software it's the final version of beta software before the public release.

GM means Gold Master, the final release to the public. This is ridiculous news. based on nothing more than speculation. Its common knowledge that they try and stay with the 2 week release for betas. Yaaaaaawn.....

I'm guessing Grand Master, as in Master Copy or Final version.
