Apple has put up a giant billboard ad in Times Square to advertise the launch of its upcoming Beats 1 radio station.

Apple's first ever live radio station dedicated entirely to music, Beats 1 will broadcast live to over 100 countries. It will be led by influential DJs Zane Lowe in Los Angeles, Ebro Darden in New York and Julie Adenuga in London. Listeners around the globe will hear the same programming at the same time. Beats 1 will offer exclusive interviews, guest hosts and the best of what’s going on in the world of music.

Lowe tweeted a photo of the billboard earlier today saying, "Times Sq now @Beats1".

Apple has deleted its iTunes Radio Stations. Put that on news.

The same programming at the same time. Does that mean programs are adapted for each timezone? So it's the same show in London at 9 am in New York at 9am and LA at 9am? Or is the 9am London show at 4am New York time and 1am LA?

"Listeners around the globe will hear the same programming at the same time" - How much more explanation do you need.....? I'm pretty sure that means "the same time" regardless of time zones....
