Apple has updated its leadership page to indicate that Jonathan Ive is now the company's Chief Design Officer.
Ive was previously Apple's Senior Vice President of Design but in May it was announced that he would become Chief Design Officer.
As part of the change, Rich Howarth becomes the head of Industrial Design and Alan Dye becomes the head of User Interface.
While Apple has pitched the move as a promotion, many feel as though Ive is starting to reduce his day to day responsibilities at the company.
