PhoneTransact Releases iMerchant Pro 1.2

PhoneTransact has announced iMerchant Pro 1.2, an update to their popular credit card terminal solution for iPhone and iPod touch. Developed specifically to leverage the iPhone's unique capabilities and peerless interface, iMerchant Pro is a virtual credit card point-of-sale terminal.

With ease-of-use a primary goal, iMerchant Pro allows anyone to process card transactions at any time. The service offers encrypted SSL transactions using a PCI compliant gateway so users can bill their clients from anywhere. iMerchant Pro will allow entry for the transaction using just the amount to charge, credit card number and expiration date.
