Amazon is reportedly working to bring the Amazon Video app to the new Apple TV.

Dan Bostonweeks contact the company via its in-app feedback system to inquire about an app for the Apple TV.

"I sent feedback to Amazon via the Amazon Instant Video iOS app about supporting tvOS. They say it’s in development."

Here's the reply Amazon gave Bostonweeks.

Dan, I have interacted with our technical team and have been informed that they are currently working in developing a new app for the Apple TV. As we have already succeeded in developing an app for iPhone and iPad, we hope to make an app separately for the Apple TV. Hopefully, within a few weeks span, you will be able to see the Amazon Instant Video app feature on your Apple TV.

Interestingly, Amazon recently removed the Apple TV and Google Chromecast streaming devices from its online store citing lack of support for Amazon Video. It's unclear if Amazon will once again sell the Apple TV if an Amazon Video app is released for the device.

You can download Amazon Video from the App Store for free. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, or RSS for updates.

And Apple should deny it until Amazon relists the AppleTV.

This is what happens when you don't market your products correctly, you make an app that'll make your product work on a competitors product.
