Jonathan Ive has created a one of a kind yellow iPad along with unique accessories to help raise money for the Design Museum, reports Wallpaper.
The museum is a holding a 'Time for Design' auction in Berkeley Square to raise money for their relocation to Kensington.
Globally renowned designers and collectors have donated items for the auction. Ive contributed a unique iPad Pro and accessory collection.
His new accessory collection includes an iPad Pro housing, which has been anodised with a custom dye; a blue, suede-lined 'Smart Cover', crafted from supple French leather; and an orange cover for the Apple Pencil, created from fine grain Italian calf leather.
The iPad Pro has 'Edition 1 of 1' laser etched on the back and on the interior surface of the Smart Cover.

.... he probably just had an unintended result while he was watching the anodizing process and that's what happened. Then he thought: What an insanely great unapologetically magical effect!

Or he probably wanted to make something that resembles gold color for a cheaper cost.

I think he can do better than changing color of iPad to yellow or red.

R&D costs millions so 1 piece is not worth.
Changing color as unique piece in the world is better than regular iPad with autograph anyway.
