New iPad Pros and 13-inch MacBook Air Already 'Deep in Production' [Gurman]

Apple is planning to unveil the biggest ever revamp for iPad Pro, a refreshed iPad Air, a bigger iPad Air, and new 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models in March, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.

In his weekly newsletter, Gurman reveals that the new iPad Pro and 13-inch MacBook Air are already in production.

The latest: I'm told these machines are likely to come out around the end of March — and that the new iPad Pros and 13-inch MacBook Air are already deep in production overseas. The first beta version of iOS 17.4 has also given us a few additional clues. It references some new iPad accessories — there are fresh Magic Keyboards and Apple Pencils on the way — in addition to a possible landscape Face ID camera on the new iPad Pros. That last item has been on users' wish lists for a long time.


We're expecting Apple to equip the new MacBook Air models with an M3 processor, catching up to the MacBook Pro models released last year. The new iPad Pro is also expected to get an M3 processor; however, its standout feature will be a new high quality OLED display. Recent rumors suggest the iPad Pro will come with a huge price increase, perhaps explaining the rumored introduction of a larger iPad Air.
