iPhone 4 Drop Test [Video]

iPhone 4 Drop Test [Video]

Posted June 23, 2010 at 9:41pm by iClarified
iFixYouri has performed a drop test with the new iPhone 4 to see how easily the device gets damaged.

We told everyone that once we have a full iPhone, functioning, we’d be posting a video of us drop testing. The test was completed on a sunny afternoon in Florida, behind our repair facility. The area where it was dropped was free of pebbles and/or small rocks. It was a flat surface out in our parking lot. The height it was performed at, was about the level where you would be holding the phone out in front of you.

Take a guess at how many drops it takes to destroy the phone then watch the video below...

Come on people it's really just a phone no need to get all excited and all, but the thing is just take care of your stuff, things are made to brake if you don't take care of it. You don't see a any car company advertising that in a crash no damage will happen, so stop blaming apple for there products that brake, blame yourself for braking them.

Imagine this phone is not from apple. What would you say about it ? Gets broken after 3-4 drops on ground? When you hold phone in hand reception drops to zero.. But this phone was made by apple and million guys want to have it no matter what... WTB some sense :)

Wow i can't believe it broke this easy. I guess I'm going to be fixing a lot of these in a few weeks. I don't even think the 2g,3g or 3GS were this bad.

Really apple? So much for your unbreakable screen! If this happens to my screen, God help Steve Jobs! He'll be getting a strongly worded email from me!

No, sorry I think the point was that if you break your phone.. you should go to their website and they will fix it. I don't think they did this to tell people to buy a case.

Guys, it's only a phone. Relax.

Hey david.. I don't think a website called iFixYouri.com would be advertising to sell cases. Technically cases would hurt their business unless they actually sold them

Actually, the point of the video was to promote their website, which claims to fix the broken iPhone.
