Telefonica Czech Republic is reportedly discontinuing all iPhone sales because of Apple's 'business terms', according to Bloomberg.
Telefonica Czech Republic AS won't sell Apple's new iPhone 4S and will end sales of all Apple's models because of Apple's business terms, Hospodarske Noviny reported, citing Telefonica's local spokesman Hany Farghali. Czech units of Vodafone Group and T-Mobile International AG will start selling Apple's iPhone 4s today, the newspaper added.
It's unclear if Apple's terms for Telefonica Czech Republic were any different than other carriers. Most networks are desperate to carry the iPhone. For example, Sprint was even willing to pay Apple a subsidy that is 40% higher than it pays other mobile device manufacturers.

Sounds like a dumb move out of desperation. Most likely many new customers will choose there providers offering the iPhone.

That's bullshit, O2 Telefonica's policy is wrong. It was same with Tethering, it was not working for ages just for O2, they were blaming Apple from it. My thought is that it was blocked by O2. Btw, O2 Telefonica is strongest operator mobile and fixed line networks. Few year ago it was the only operator here in Czech republic. Damn company, hope it will have no impact on current contracts since i'm a customer too. :-(
