Brookstone has released a Pocket Projector for the iPhone 4.

Well.... What happens when they come out next year with a new iPhone 5 and it doesn't fit this device ??

@ 15 lumen it need a pitch black room (0 lux) to see anything with some contrast. NO WAY this will work inside with even the tiniest amount of light. A 5 Watt eco LED-lamp makes ~50 lumens and that's a dim "night-watch" kind of bulb. Now imagine a third of that... it could barely illuminate inside a box !!!! I would LOVE to see them demonstrate the image in the AD is from their product... It is typical for LED Pico-Projectors to have low power and high prices. You could pick a DLP 100 lumen Pico from BENQ Joybee GP1 or for about the same $$$ the ACER C110 but with only 50 lumen. www.projectorreviews.com/benq/joybee_gp1/index.php

$229!!?? Why not just by an iPod for the kid? That's ridiculous asking price... IMO

Or an older model LAPTOP that will come with a bright 15" screen, movie player, games, and at least a 2-3h battery.... that would easy be below 250$
Sometimes a modest Laptop can be cheaper that having your car set up with central mdeia player and bac-seat LCDs...
