Thats why everytime I jailbreak my device no matter what I already save my blobs through tiny umbrella.. Your iPhone or iPad doesn't need to be jailbroken to save your blobs. It was a piece of cake to downgrade my 4S .. No iTunes bullshit error 1505 or 1600 ..like sn0wbreeze .. This method is just a genius its like jailbreakme.. if you didn't save you blobs ,,,there is no way to can do it.. You are going have to wait until the 5.1 or 5.1.1 jailbreak comes out.. Hope this helps

It can't if you don't have your blobs.

You can't dothis to a new ipad. Because in order to downgrade the firmware to an earlier firmware you need an iOS device to have the shsh and apt tickets for that firmware and since the new ipad came with 5.1 and not 5.01 there's no way anybody could have the shsh for 5.01. This method works for the new ipad but only for downgrading from 5.1.1 to 5.1.
