According to a report by iMore, Apple is planning on rolling out its new rumored dock connector to its entire iOS lineup as early as this fall.
According to the site, the devices that would get the refresh would be the new iPhone 5, the the new iPod nano and iPod touch, the rumored 7-inch iPad mini, and perhaps an updated version of the current 9.7-inch iPad.
It would be strange to see Apple release an updated 9.7 inch iPad so quickly after its original launch in March. Perhaps it will be a slightly tweaked version instead of one without any upgrades.
Apparently, this information comes from the same source who was the first one to claim Apple would be releasing a new dock connector back in February.
