AppleSeed and Mac developers will be getting 10.8.1 in the coming days, according tips sent in to 9to5mac.
We've received word from AppleSeed testers that 10.8.1 Betas have hit the download queue meaning that more widespread 10.8.1 updates are on the way. We'll update when information becomes available.
No word on any changes, but hopefully it will address the battery life concerns.
