iBall Games Launches Pro Beach Volleyball 1.0

iBall Games of Soarion Mobile Entertainment has announced the release of Pro Beach Volleyball, a power-packed game for the iPhone and iPod touch. The game captures the energy, speed and athleticism of professional beach volleyball and is now available in Apple's iTunes Store. Pro Beach Volleyball is a condensed version of a full real-life game played by women athletes.

iBall Games developers - including Stephen Wilkinson, executive vice president of development, and Eric Walker, Nathan Forsbach and other industry vets - have packed a remarkable level of realism and excitement into a very small package. Amazing worlds with 3D animation, music and sound effects: Pro Beach Volleyball captures the sun and sand of beaches in Mexico and California with realistic surroundings and cheering crowds. Multiple camera angles, original music, more than 60 sound effects and high-altitude flybys on every score add to the excitement.


True-to-life play: Motion capture of real athletes and painstaking blending give the onscreen players 15 authentic moves as they set, bump, spike, return and block. Gravity and a robust physics system make each shot behave like the real thing.

iBall Games is finalizing the development of another volleyball game to be released soon. An enhanced, full version of Pro Beach Volleyball, the new game will feature an expanded cast of men and women athletes, live online play with other gamers, additional beach settings in Australia and the Tropics, two modes of play - amateur and pro - and the ability to play to an unlimited number of points.
