Informatica Kamalert has released KamAlert 1.01, the latest version of their powerful security app. KamAlert has a built-in motion detector surveillance camera, automatically sends for help and provides panic buttons for medical emergencies or imminent danger. All of this peace of mind is packed into one unique application for the iPhone.

KamAlert is a brand new concept based on personal wellbeing and security combined. The features and technology used in this app ensures that users will keep it and make use of it long after it has been purchased. It was the abduction of little Madeleine McCann in Portugal that inspired the creation of KamAlert. Three year old Madeleine was taken from an apartment while on holidays with her parents in 2007. The girl still has not been found.

When the story broke in the news, it touched a lot of hearts. Informatica developers determined to create a product that could be taken anywhere and used to help prevent such tragedy from occurring again. The iPhone seemed the perfect venue for KamAlert because of the device's versatility. Also, it's portable and most people carry their phone everywhere they go.

The app uses motion detection to signal the snapping of pictures. If there is an intruder, the camera captures photographic evidence then sends it to the police, friends or relatives automatically. Users can set up their preferences and choose recipients beforehand so the app needs no more personal interaction than a tap or two to send alerts and get help if there's trouble.

KamAlert is helpful in other areas besides the intruder variety. Informatica has designed it to be the fastest personal protection system that people can get. Users merely tap the quick touch panic buttons to instantly send distress messages and their GPS location to the person or emergency service of their choice via SMS, emails and a phone call. This is the perfect feature to have for medical emergencies, accidents and child security.

This application also offers the choice of sending a silent alarm via their iPhone or having a loud siren sound when there is imminent danger, such as a fire or violent situation.

KamAlert Features:
* Unique camera surveillance technology uses motion detection
* Automatically snaps photos
* Automatically alerts emergency services, friends, relatives, whoever the user designates
* Provides the GPS location to authorities so they can find users fast
* Has panic buttons to facilitate the fastest emergency response time possible
* Flexible interface lets users set things up the way they want them
* Available in English and Spanish
* In app purchases available
* Syncs with website
* Can send multiple messages with photos attached

The amazing features in KamAlert provide a lot of security and protection but more, they offer users a peace of mind that they've never had before. Thanks to the portability factor, help is just a tap away whether they need it in a dark alley, a foreign country, at home or in the office. You just can't beat that.

Thanks to Informatica, the day may be closer when children like Madeleine are no longer taken from their beds. That's the idea, anyway. KamAlert may not be and probably isn't the final answer to ending such heartbreak but at least it's a start and a big step in the right direction.

Pricing and Availability
KamAlert 1.01 is only $4.99 (USD) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Lifestyle category. Promo codes are available for qualified reviewers. Please specify the website or blog you represent when making your request.

"Informatica developers determined to create a product that could be taken anywhere and used to help prevent such tragedy from occurring again." In other words, you are evoking a tragic event to try and sell your product. There is only one thing that could help prevent such a tragedy: Parents not leaving their very young children, alone at night in a ground floor apartment, while they go to a restaurant to eat. Oh wait, I stand corrected! Your app makes it OK to leave my 4-year-old child alone at night, because if anything does happen to her, I'll have pictures! Terrific! Here's an app for that: A babysitter.
