La Repubblica is reporting that the 3G iPhone will be coming to Italy within the next few weeks.
They suggest this agreement is important as it marks a turning point in the formula Apple has used for launching the iPhone. The agreement with Telecom Italia is said to be based on a higher selling price rather then revenue sharing. Also, the agreement is not an exclusive agreement with Telecom Italia. Rather, they will receive a few months head start.
