Skype Calling Bientöt pour iPhone

Denver Post rapporte que Skype a annoncé une version de son application destiné pour Google Android et qu'une version Skype pour iPhone Skype ne devra tarder.

Scott Durschlag, responsable du développement chez Skype explique que " l'application Skype pour iPhone est encore au stade du développement. Les techniciens essaient de réduire la quantité de puissance que nécessite l'utilisation de l'application."

Ce n'est toujours pas certain si Apple donnera la permission à Skype d'utiliser le 3G pour passer les appels. Apple a interdit les applications VOIP Internet de se connecter aux réseaux mobiles, les laissant uniquement la possibilité de se connecter via Wi-Fi.

Even if the VOIP applications have been banned by Apple - guess what - thanks to our Cydia and Installer community, you can now use a small feature that enables you in fooling the iPhone OS to "think" you are on wi-fi when in fact you are using the 3g or edge connections - :P so thank you Skype for making all of us use less minutes on our plans and more of the $30 data plan ... LOLOL
