Steven Sinofsky, President of Windows at Microsoft, is using the Surface tablet as a skateboard to demonstrate its sturdiness.
Sinofsky tweeted a couple pics of the test saying, "Couldn't resist taking it out for a spin...".
As the making of video reveals, Microsoft is using magnesium as the metal for the tablet.
Notably, using a tablet as a skateboard is not a new idea. Back in 2010, Fuel TV added wheels to an iPad to find out "Will It Shred?"
The tablet market is growing increasingly crowded with Google, Amazon and now Microsoft all trying to oust the iPad. Apple is reportedly preparing to launch an iPad mini on October 23rd in an effort to maintain its tablet dominance.

I guess if the product launch fails you can always use it that way.
