Jailbreak Confirmed Working With iOS 6.1 Final, Sunday Release Hinted

Planetbeing has confirmed that their untethered jailbreak works with new iOS 6.1 final firmware released by Apple today.

iOS 6.1 appears to be vulnerable to the exploits we are planning on using. :)

In terms of code, we have two proof of concepts that we need to merge and polish, so we will not be ready to release until that and testing.

Notably, MuscleNerd has hinted that the team might release the jailbreak on Superbowl Sunday.

to unlock iPhone, even not jailbroken, go to ebay and search IMEI unlock I have unlocked 2 ATTUsa iPhones that way, an iPhone 5, and an iPhone 4

BET! although most of Cydia will be congested for the first couple of weeks or so...im stoked, now I can tether my iPhone 5 unlimited lte data to my new iPad w/out having to pay more or change my grandfathered data package.

Next Sunday is supersunday, but it's because of Jailbreak release and not because of the Superbowl.

They say it may be coming out Sunday, but @planetbeing clearly tweets, "Hah, @musclenerd suggested it, but it's not necessarily going to happen. :P" So hopefully it means its coming sooner!!

I just purchased my iPhone 5. The whole reason I bought it because there will be a jailbreak for it. Super bowl sunday ? the server is going to be congested big time. I remember when the jailbreak Green poison . It took me all day to reload Cydia. I can't wait for my Iphone 5 to be jailbroken. Sbsettings I miss that. Barrel2,5 dock.MY tvshows..
