Apple has released iOS 6.1 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
You can download the update by selecting Software Update from the General menu on your iOS device.
● LTE support for more carriers (complete list of supported carriers at www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/) ● Purchase movie tickets through Fandango with Siri (USA only) ● iTunes Match subscribers can now download individual songs from iCloud ● New button to reset the Advertising Identifier
Does anyone notice the LTE speed and how much responsive 6.1 update? It appears to be faster for me. Just curious if anyone notice any difference. Thanks!
NEW FEATURE NOT DISCUSSED BEFORE:
In the music app, while connected to the same network, you can play your Mac iTunes music and turn on the screen saver as well as using airplay on the Apple TV.
Pretty friggin cool.
There's one more new thing! Siri now works with Spanish, and probably other languages too (previously, spanish could be selected as a language in Siri preferences but it was only available for Dictation).
Why apple updated carrier settings to allow LTE for companies like Telcel (Mexico) just for iPad 4gen and iPad mini and not for iPhone 5 or iPad 3gen??????
no way I'm upgrading my 4S and my iPad 3 LTE from 5.1.1 to 6.1 till i know for sure that Apple didn't block the jailbreak and the jailbreak is out and working, the only problem is that because installuos is gone nobody wrote a new AppSync 6 so i don't know if its worth it for me to upgrade at all, i might just stay on 5.1.1 because 6.1 gives me nothing i need, and everything on Cydia works on ios 5 but not much for ios 6.
