Look at the iPhones in the picture on the website. It has a 3 for the date. That is why people assume it will be then. Plus one of the guys tweeted asking what iPhone users will be doing Super Bowl Sunday.

If you had really been researching this, you would have read the other article from this site where it was stated "The new team of hackers consists of Pod2g, Planetbeing, MuscleNerd, and Pimskeks. Following the release of iOS 6.1, Planetbeing confirmed that their untethered jailbreak works with the firmware and MuscleNerd hinted that the jailbreak could be released on Sunday." Don't jump someone else because you weren't paying attention. There are other forms of communication besides the evasion site!! Thank the Evad3rs Dev-Team and be on your business!!
