New 'radio buy buttons' have been found in iOS 6.1 giving weight to recent reports that Apple is planning to launch a radio service.

9to5Mac found the buttons in the iPad Music.app.

The files are called some variation of “radio button” with an icon that looks similar to the radio icon that used to be in iTunes for Mac (it was traded for a more prominent top location in iTunes 11 without the antenna tower).

Bloomberg recently reported that Apple and music labels have intensified their negotiations to launch an ad supported Internet radio service by early 2013.

Notably, many of the the buttons found are designated 'radio-buy-buttons' which appears to indicate that there will be a paid component to the service.
