The iOS 6.1.3 Lock Screen Can Still Be Bypassed [Video]

Posted March 20, 2013 at 6:56pm by iClarified
Apple yesterday released iOS 6.1.3 which fixed a lock screen vulnerability; however, it turns out there is yet another one to be fixed.

As demonstrated in the video below from videosdebarraquito, it's possible to get access to the Contacts app and then other areas of the phone including photos by using Voice Dial then ejecting the SIM card.

Sorry, iOS 6.1.3 has a new security flaw, but can be avoided easily. You should disable the "Voice Dial" option if you want to be safe.

Take a look...

Easy solution to that - eject SIM card and don't use it if you're planning to stay in the United States. Even if you didn't.... Get an otterbox! It'll take some time to take it off and eject the SIM card

Jesus what has happened to Apple?! One of the most high lighted feautres of iOS over Android was it's security. Now I think it's a goner!! It doesn't feel safe anymore for me... There's a chance for iOS 7 to fix these holes from basics. Not patching them up.
