Apple will reportedly release updated 11-inch and 13-inch MacBook Airs next week, according to French site MacG.

Apple would likely replace the 1.3GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor with a 1.4GHz or 1.5GHz i5 processor. It could also offer new storage options.

Recent rumors have suggested that Apple is working on a new 12-inch MacBook that offers a Retina display and an all new design. That device isn't expected to ship until late Q3 or early Q4.

A touchscreen would be nice!! I have had convertible PC tablets for 6 years. I guess apple just can't figure out how to make the touch screen mechanism thin enough...oh wait... ;-)

I guess you can't figure out how useless it is, a touchscreen on a computer would just get rid of the mouse and make apple that stupid of copying Microsoft but if you want something like that just buy a wireless keyboard for ipad, but really for a laptop? All you do it reach out in front of you and tap. Imagine trying to play a point and click game doing a speedrun like that, or drawing where you can nearly see exactly the color will be showing up. Anyway, If I wanted a small screen I would go for a phone, if I needed a bigger one without a keyboard then I would go for an ipad, and if I wanted a computer without all those ad dons the Microsoft way, I would want a MacBook.
