Apple has released iTunes 11.2.2 to fix a problem with podcasts and improve stability.
iTunes 11.2.2 This update fixes a problem where certain podcast episodes may download unexpectedly after upgrading and includes several stability improvements.
You can download the update by selecting Software Update from the Apple menu at the top left of your screen.
