Google Posts 'An Introduction to Android Wear' [Video]

Google has posted a video introduction to Android Wear, its project to extend Android to wearable devices.

Timothy Jordon gives an overview of the current Android Wear developer preview.

I wonder if scam droid will make this thing as buggy and easily exploited as the phones it lives on . Maybe it will have a hat that goes with it that houses your extra battery so when the battery dies after 45 minutes you have another right there with you , maybe the hat will say I am a troll and have green pointy hair on the top.

I liked this presentation, but the whole API is geared towards a watch (=wearable in your lingo). What if the wearable is not a watch? We wear more than that. Just saying...
