T-Mobile has announced that it will hold its Uncarrier 7 event on September 10, just one day after Apple's own press event. T-Mobile sent out invitations with the tagline "This Time It's Personal" to select members of the press. Interestingly enough, T-Mobile will not be holding the event at a theater or conference center in Las Vegas, instead it will use its own company store in San Francisco.
John Legere and the T-Mobile team invite you to join us in San Francisco on Wednesday, September 10 at the T-Mobile store at the corner of Market and 3rd street (669 Market Street). Doors open at 12:30 pm pacific, and we’ll kick off at 1pm pacific.
The event will start at 1PM PDT /4PM EDT, with doors opening 30 minutes beforehand. T-Mobile has used these events to shake-up the wireless industry. The Carrier has already introduced the ability to upgrade your device whenever, announced simplified plans, removed international roaming fees, agreed to pay customers' ETFs if they switched, announced an iPhone 5s test drive program, rolled out a streaming music service for customers, and finally bringing an improved network with VoLTE and wideband LTE.
So far, T-Mobile Uncarrier strategy is paying off as the carrier is seeing strong quarterly results.

The phone is cheap whatever price it is, it's the cellular service that is not. T-mobile has to come with price not a phone !

It's not like a choice, but the newer models from the same company releases, the cheaper the older ones from years back get. It gets more cheaper by the year. This is how any carrier does it.

Maybe the new iPhone will support the 700Mhz (LTE Band 12) radios and Tmo is announcing they are turning on the switch. Uncannier 7.0 = 700Mhz with other perks hopefully.

They must be giving away those useless iCrap 5S phones which are unsold / returned by customers / faulty phones etc. They know its useless so just giving away. Anyway its much better than Crapple who recently sold all their faulty phones in eBay for very high price and its filled with negative feedbacks.

It once did this but for a day and a half only but I had to keep refreshing after taping anything to ensure loading except for comment posting. All I had to do was press it twice until a message pops up saying "comment already posted successfully" then done.

One day after Apple event??! This sounds interesting! Must have something to do with the new iPhone 6! I have iPhone 4s with AT&T and my contract was over a year ago. I have corporate discount and I have a legacy unlimited data plan, so I can't complaint. I don't need unlimited data but I definitely need more than 2G/month so I can't wait what T-Mobile has up their sleeve!!

They did say they were upgrading the edge signal to 4g in about every area so either it's that or soon there will be more coverage.

I'm glad someone is putting fire under Verizon and AT&T's ass. In the end of the day it will make it better for everyone. I'm with Verizon but feel they charge too much as well as AT&T.

I feel it to, as much as I wanted to switch long ago, my mom for some reason stays with them but she wants to do the same with me. I just feel like I'm. Missing out on so much the more uncarrier features come. It's like I want to time travel and convince my mom to start and stay with tmobile.

I'm just suprised how they keep going. They're the badass of the carriers. Uncarrier 5 and 6 just came and now uncarrier 7! What more can there be. I'm just shocked to see these guys do what they can. They're like apple.
