Developer Lucas Menge has created a concept app that brings the Apple Watch home screen to the iPhone.
The app, inspired by a 9to5Mac post, works much the same way as the Apple Watch. The screen is filled with numerous round app icons of various sizes. You can tap to open an app or drag the screen to move around the home screen. You can pinch to zoom in or out. If you've zoomed out a lot, you can tap once to zoom in. If you tap somewhere that is not an icon it will zoom out.
Menge has posted the code for the app on GitHub noting, "Please consider this prototype code. There are unpolished edge cases!"

Hello, just open iTunes on you computer connected to the Internet and ask iTunes for an update. It should download the new iOS 8.1 for your 4S ( not available for 4). Then iTunes will backup your phone ( don't stop this or you may lost all your data if the update crashes). Once downloaded iTunes will proceed with the update. Be patient... Really patient. Then enjoy !
