Apple Increases App Prices in the Russian App Store

Posted by · 15076 views · Translate
Apple has informed developers that it's increased prices in the Russian App Store due to ruble fluctuations. A 0.99 USD app now costs 62 rubles. Earlier this year it cost 33 rubles.

---
We’ve increased the price for apps and In-App Purchases on the Russian App Store to account for changes in foreign exchange rates.

We’ve also updated the pricing matrix, which is now available in the app’s Pricing section in My Apps on iTunes Connect.

Note that we periodically adjust prices on the App Store due to changes in foreign exchange rates. If you have any questions about the price changes, contact us.

Regards,

The App Store team

Apple also halted online sales in Russia after Russia’s currency lost as much as 19 percent on Wednesday.
