Apple CEO Tim Cook was spotted visiting the Palo Alto Apple Store today. While visiting the store, Cook told CNBC that reaction to the smartwatch has been "extraordinary."
"Customers have been giving us great feedback and orders have been great, as well," Cook said.
While surrounded by a crowd outside the store, Cook showed off his model of choice, the stainless steel Apple Watch with a white band.
As of this morning, Apple is completely sold out of the Apple Watch with shipping estimates ranging from 4-6 weeks to July depending on the model you're interested in.

Apple would like to make this impression that pre-orders are "sold out" by severely limiting supply, making a fake scenario that this device is "in great demand". They are probably making these watches on a per order basis because Tim Cook knows how much inventory he is going to end up with. Having to wait 6 weeks for a device to ship pretty much tells you they only start machining these thing as soon as you click buy. Pretty much a made as ordered.

What, orders been great You can't charge anyone until you ship ! Waiting 2-3-4-5-6 weeks for back orders is disgusting ! Pathetic !

I like Tim. He seems like a genuinely nice guy. What a treat.

The greatest smartest innocent man who knows what it's like to have a real competition instead of mocking them, one of the honest things to do.

Noticed his stainless Apple watch had a gold crown with red center. Wonder why that is. Maybe it was his original test version to see how the different metals held up with use. Probably doesn't want to give it up.
