Apple has quietly updated its Apple Watch to remove the April 24th launch date. The site now reads 'The Watch is coming.' in place of 'Available 4.24.15'.

The change follows the announcement that the Apple Watch will not be available to purchase in retail stores on April 24th.

Customers have expressed concern to Apple that the launch date is misleading and more of a delivery date than a launch date if the device is not available to purchase in stores. Apple's executive team is reportedly taking those complaints very seriously and this may be a step to help prevent any customer confusion. If you haven't ordered one already you could be waiting into July depending on model you want.

Lucky you Simon. I have to wait until June . Hopefully apple might decide to change my delivery date to an earlier date

Lucky indeed. It took them all of 60 seconds to sell out of the initial supply and for the ship times to slip to 4-6 weeks.

Looks like they really underestimated the demand. Or these watches are really hard to make. In either case, I'm glad I got my preorder in at 12:01am.
