Xcode Confirms 2GB of RAM for iPhone 6s, 4G of RAM for iPad Pro

Developer Hamza Sood has confirmed the amount of RAM in the iPhone 6s and iPad Pro via Xcode.

Sood tweeted the following earlier today:

Not much of a surprise but Xcode confirms 2GB of RAM for the 6s (and 6s plus), and 4GB for the iPad Pro

As you can see in the Xcode Simulator image below 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB of RAM are indicated for the iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, and iPad Pro, respectively.

I bought iPhone when it came out and had it till 4s, changed it to android till this year, not a bad experience but I am looking at this year iPhone and telling myself what's the point having a 4g ram and quad core processor when one gb iPhone is faster than 4 gb Samsung . Now imagine what 2 gab iPhone does to Samsung so for all those reason I am switching back to iPhone because it is more optimized and faster. I don't care if it is 1 gb or 2.

Bad choice with android. My first time wa also the last. It had problems beyond not optimizing ram, and talk about the magic of apple chips no matter what is done to make it work like magic!

It's about time the iPhone went to 2gb of ram. That alone is worth the upgrade.
