Apple Announces Fastest iOS Adoption Ever, Over 50% of Devices Already on iOS 9

Apple has announced the launch of iOS 9 has seen the fastest adoption ever, with over 50% of devices already on the new firmware.

iOS 9 was released on September 16th, 2015 and Apple says that over 50% of devices had upgraded to the new firmware by September 19, 2015, as measured by the App Store.


For comparison, iOS 8 reached 46% adoption four days after launching.

It's likely that adoption of iOS 9 will see a boost on Friday as Apple launches its next generation iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.

I'm going to wait for 9.1 at least, there are not too many new features so no rush... Better stick with kind of bug free 8.4.1

After upgrading iPhone 6 to iOS9, my phone can no longer connect to airplay speakers.
